Prospect reinforce publishing relationship

Friday, January 9, 201546, by Century One

After seven fruitful years of working with Prospect, Century One Publishing is delighted to announce an extension to our service provision to the Union.

From January 2015 we will be managing advertising sales on EducationEye, the magazine for the education professionals within Prospect’s membership. Formerly known as Improvement magazine and distributed to Aspect union members in Northern Ireland, the publication serves a niche part of the education market and plays an invaluable role in the delivering union and industry news to professionals in this sector.

The targeted audience of education professionals in Northern Ireland represents an exciting advertising opportunity for both affinity partners and commercial organisations. We are looking forward to augmenting affinity campaigns at the same time as introducing new advertisers to the publication.

“In addition to the natural progression this appointment represents in coming under our existing work with Prospect, the contract award speaks also to both our expertise in the education sector – such as our relationship with the NUT – and within the union movement as a whole”, said Sarah Simpson, Managing Director, Century One Publishing.

Century One represents five of the largest trades unions in the UK, who between them have over 2million members.

“Century One provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ package for magazine publishers encompassing design, advertising sales, production and distribution. This not only simplifies management and administration; it provides access to a design team that is not only resourceful, efficient and always on time, but full of creative enthusiasm and flair. Readers were not unhappy with the magazine before, but as one wrote recently: “What’s happened to Geoscientist? Suddenly it’s terrific!”Dr Ted Nield NUJ FGS, Editor, Geoscientist
